E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Low Band System Software Support Journeyman Mid to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT in support of the US Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Signals Intelligence Field Support (DSFS). US AF DCGS DSFS collects, processes, and analyses intelligence information from airborne, ground, and other systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage/support LBS software and processes
- Provide system administration for GCP software (CETS, MSCS, RIM, SEAM, and SDE)
- Maintain all LBS software to operate and interface with multiple sensors, sites and systems
- Provide LBS technical and engineering software support
- Perform system administration support to the PCPAD process
- Provide comprehensive analysis, diagnostics and fault isolation for LBS SW/systems associated with ground components
- Support SRM or MT in comprehensive analysis, diagnostics and fault isolation for the system/sensors and associated SIGINT End-to-End network paths
- Provide sustainment support during system upgrades
- Provide LBS process and data link improvements/recommendations
- Support data encryption changes and implementation
- Support SIGINT post upgrade efforts IAW tech data, TTPs, and OIs. Provide OJT to AFP and identify sustainment support improvements that reduce logistics footprint
- Support SRM or MT for LBS readiness, system/mission configuration relative to the sensor or communications link
- Support LBS pre-mission tasks (system reboots, ground rings, etc.)
- Provide LBS real-time assistance/support to the SRM or MT, maintainers, operators and users
- Collect LBS information for the mission debrief
- Evaluate LBS anomalies such as maintenance actions and Incident tickets
- Submit LBS Incident tickets and performs maintenance actions as required
- Provide LBS information for mission debrief to SRM or MT
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related Technical Field with a minimum of 5 years of Cyber Security Engineering experience
- Must possess a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II security certification (e.g., Security+ CE)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 7 years of Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) experience
- At least 2 years of Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) experience
- At least 1 year of Air Force Distributed Common Ground Systems (AF DCGS) and Air Force Signals Intelligence (AF SIGINT) experience
- Experience with UNIX (Solaris or Linux) and Microsoft Windows system administration
- Experience with COTS or GOTS software solutions used by DCGS operators and analysts (CICS, RIM, CETS, etc)
- Experience with Software development methods (shell scripts, JavaScript, Python, PHP, C/C++, C#, Java, XML, HTML, etc.)
- Experience with Oracle database system administration
- Experience with x86-based server hardware and troubleshooting methods
- Experience with Serena (ADSM) trouble ticket reporting system
- Experience with cyber security tools and methods
