E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO in support of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). NORAD is a United States and Canada bi-national organization charged with the missions of aerospace warning, aerospace control and maritime warning for North America. Aerospace warning includes the detection, validation, and warning of attack against North America whether by aircraft, missiles, or space vehicles, through mutual support arrangements with other command.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead Agile team(s) in high-level design, integration and verification of software components for NISSC II Products.
- Support Agile team(s) in development and implementation of software components for NISSC II Products.
- Attend and Participate in Periodic Large Scale Agile Planning events.
- Attend and Participate in standard Agile ritual meetings (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives).
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in related discipline with five (5) to eight (8) years of relevant experience
- Able to lift equipment up to 50 pounds
- Must possess a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II security certification (e.g., Security+ CE) or obtain within six (6) of hire
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level.
- Must have the ability to travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Wide breadth of expertise in ability to train less-experienced developers and software test personnel in the use of development languages, tools and environments in the design and development of software-centric solutions.
- Experience with Java, C++, Eclipse/IntelliJ IDEs, JUnit, etc.
- Highly Desired: Support Agile team(s) in development and implementation of software components for NISSC II Products.
- Experience working on NISSC II Products/Applications Experience with Agile Development methodologies.
- Experience in Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration Environments.
