E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a VTC Maintenance Technician (Vindicator) to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO in support of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). NORAD is a United States and Canada bi-national organization charged with the missions of aerospace warning, aerospace control and maritime warning for North America. Aerospace warning includes the detection, validation, and warning of attack against North America whether by aircraft, missiles, or space vehicles, through mutual support arrangements with other command.

Job Responsibilities

  • Direct/contribute to the ongoing Vindicator deployment/implementation, oversight/support and updated methodologies.
  • Install, test and support Vindicator functions, on site
  • Provide field support and expertise to the installation staff on jobs utilizing a combined skill set of equipment configuration, troubleshooting, documentation, etc.
  • Responsible for organizing, maintaining and archiving all job related facets of installation/implementation of Vindicator peripherals
  • Debug and test fixes to operational problems with integration of Intrusion Detection (ID) Systems
  • Confirm customer requirements by reviewing customer needs concerning input data, and output requirements
  • Provide testing and ongoing site support all associated peripherals
  • Conduct user training, provide status briefs to manager, and assist in development, update and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures and operational guides on all Vindicator/ID Systems interfaces
  • Works with engineering staff to develop and maintain network requirements, architectures, and designs. Understand how integration/implementation cause/effect impacts the overall Vindicator/ID Systems architecture
  • Takes an active role in design and installation of small to large-scale Vindicator/ID systems

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current Vindicator Certification/Training experience in an Air Force environment
  • Knowledge of AV/VTC hardware, software and network connections
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level.

Preferred Requirements

  • AA/BS
  • Experience participating in and effectively contributing to a highly-collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative and to work independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
